The Netflix streaming media service has become the modern entertainment source for many people looking to find something to watch. Just recently, the platform released several lists for the year-in-review including its most-watched series and most re-watched movies.

As reported by Highsnobiety, “On My Block” led all of the Netflix OriginalTV shows that captured viewers’ attention most. It’s described as a “coming-of-age” TV series which follows the lives of four teens who are friends from an inner-city Los Angeles neighborhood. They put their friendship to the test once they begin their high school lives together. Sierra Capri, Diego Tinoco, Jason Genao, and Brett Gray are amongst the popular series’ cast.

A few follow-up seasons came in at the next two spots on the Netflix list. No. 2 overall was “Making a Murderer: Part 2,” while “13 Reasons Why: Season 2” took the third spot. “Last Chance U: INDY” and “Bodyguard” rounded out the top five of the list. Interestingly, the award-nominated series “Orange is the New Black” season 6 came in at the No. 10 spot.

As for movies, “The Kissing Booth” took the top spot. The original Netflix film stars Joey King, Joel Courtney, and 80s film star Molly Ringwald. It’s a romantic comedy based on the book of the same name by Beth Reekles. “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” and “Roxanne Roxanne” took the second and third spots, respectively.

Two of these original films ended up helping their stars gain some new popularity on Instagram too. Netflix provided a list of their 10 actors with the biggest boost on the social media platform. While The Fab Five from “Queer Eye” was No. 1, Landa Condor of “All The Boys” and “Joel Courtney” of The Kissing Booth took the next two spots. Noah Centineo (“All The Boys”) and Joey King (“Kissing Booth”) took the No. 7 and No. 8 spots, respectively.

As Vanity Fair recently reported, Netflix viewers will have plenty to look forward to for 2019. The third seasons of “Stranger Things” and “The Crown” are due out with no release dates for either yet. There are also new seasons of “On My Block,” “Grace and Frankie,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” for audiences to enjoy watching. In addition, there are new shows are on the way including series “The Umbrella Academy” and the documentary “Fyre.”
